The best road trips are always accompanied by the greatest friends. And this fall break was nothing short of that. From Atlanta, Georgia to Greenville, South Carolina to Charlotte, North Carolina it was a vacation full of exploring with my dear friends Dori and Rachel. And may I just add, the Carolinas are THE perfect place to be in October, the prime time of Autumn. We spent majority of our time in at this festival called “Fall for Greenville,” one of the largest food and music festival in Upstate. Food + Music. Yes please. The highlight was seeing St. Paul and the Broken Bones live. (Talk about a fanfreakintastic musician and entertainer.) The other half of our trip spent in Charlotte, a city that grew on us more and more as we explored around. Furthermore, our gracious hostesses Kevin and Sam opened up their house (aka a cozy cottage straight out of Pottery Barn) and made us feel right at home! We spent the evenings sipping on soup, sitting in their living room, listening to music (“Autumn Acoustics” on Spotify, check it out), reading, and drinking fall blend coffee. It was simply great.
Those five days spent driving and traveling were so refreshing. We had had no expectations and thats where adventure takes root; every mistaken direction or rainy day lent itself for new opportunities. Couldn’t of asked for a better way to spend our senior year fall break.
