Meet Camille + Greg. The most calm and at ease couple on their wedding day, and it was all glorious and lovely. This Amelia Island Florida destination wedding took place at the Omni Resort on the golf course, where it was a blissful 70 degrees and they were surrounded by dripping Spanish moss and a golden sunset. Neutrals, greenery, and modern details reflected the couple’s refined style. The whole day was breath-taking. Mr. & Mrs. Carrier, I am thrilled for your marriage! May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly.
Meet Lucy + Jim. You may remember their fun Nashville sessions at the Cheekwood botanical garden engagement or the Arrington Vineyard bridal shower! I had the privilege to watch their relationship flourish since they were high school sweethearts. I went to middle and high school with the groom and to college with the bride, which made it special on so many levels to capture their wedding day.
The mid November destination wedding took place at the stunning Alys Beach, located in the panhandle of Florida on 30A. They were giddy to gather 70 close friends and family members for a wedding weekend celebration no one will soon forget. All of the white, simple, crisp architecture and chic, classy styling plus the stunning and vibrant wedding party made for a excellent combo. Lucy + Jim have impeccable, sophisticated taste and their whole wedding weekend highlighted their intentionality and attention to detail. Their ceremony took place on The Green by the ocean and the reception to follow was at Rosemary Beach’s The Pearl Hotel. Oh so much beauty.
Lucy + Jim, wowowow thank YOU for allowing me to capture your marriage journey. Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Hillin!

Meet Adrienne + Trent! It was as if their wedding hopped right out of a Garden and Gun magazine or Southern Living. Truly, every aspect of the day felt, looked, tasted, smelt like true southern hospitality. The majority of their wedding celebration took place in the backyard of the bride’s family home, nestled on generous portion of land in Georgia. The traditional southern white home was decorated with warm colors, wrap around porch, rocking chairs, front yard swing, garden to grow their veggies, and a chicken coop where they gathered their eggs each day. The entire home felt like a giant hug and the rooms smelled like pecan pie. I mean, what more southern charm could you ask for?!
Adrienne + Trent danced under the twinkle lights, ate their fried chicken dinner at long family style tables decked in greenery and candles, played corn hole with their friends, and rejoiced in their marriage. What an honor to be a part of this military wedding, and to experience a sword arch after the ceremony! It was such a sentimental, glorious November day. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. #finallyFreeman!!!
Meet Milcah + Ben. You may remember them from their quaint english village engagement session a few weeks ago! It is a rare and significant honor to have a front row seat into people’s relationship, and I am so floored my friends Milcah + Ben entrusted me to capture their worshipful marriage union. Their story is my favorite, because it is all about God being the master at intertwining lives. A gentle British farmer and a compassionate Ethiopian princess meet in England, and despite all odds, they date long distance and end up getting married.
Right before the wedding dinner, the worship leader said it best, “Milcah and Ben wanted today to be a taste of what heaven will be like, all tongues, tribes, and nations worshiping together.” And truly it was that. I looked around to see all their friends and family with different accents and cultures and backgrounds, yet all singing with raised hands in adoration to the Lord and palms open to receive the gift of grace. It was a holy experience, the whole day- full of organic details, flower crowns, bowties, tweed, tea, greenery, homemade desserts, communion, praises on their lips, dancing, autumn colors, and an emphasis on comfort, simplicity, relaxation, emotion, giddiness, and celebration.
Milcah and Ben’s day displayed the sacredness of marriage. They have a huge heart for the nations and the gospel reaching the ends of the earth. I am rejoicing in this unstoppable partnership and the million little ways the Lord will use them. Congrats, MR. & MRS. TROUGHTON!
Meet Sarah + David. I have known the sweet bride for years and it was special to have a front row seat into her wedding day. The couple got married on a sunny October afternoon on beautiful land beside her farmhouse in Franklin, Tennessee. The day emphasized their love for all things country, southern, classic, and autumn. Several personal touches made the whole day feel like “home,” such as front porch sitting, front yard swing, bonfires, mini chess pies, acoustic live music, the barn, home-cooked style meal, greenery, cowgirl boots, twinkle lights, rustic details, and deep fall colors. They sure did master southern charm.
Many blessings to Sarah + David! Much love to y’all.
